Doggy day care, door to door.

Every adventure is 2 to 3 hours from pick-up to drop-off, van ride included. Here’s how your dog’s day out goes.

  1. A calm doorstep hello, a harness check and a settle into the van. Never a rushed handover. You don’t need to be home: we sort keys and access at your meet & greet.

  2. We collect the rest of the group on the way. The van is temperature monitored the whole way, and the drive there and back is counted in your dog’s 2 to 3 hours.

  3. A slow sniff on lead when we arrive, so dogs read the space and each other before the fun starts.

  4. Mostly a privately hired, secure field where the whole space is ours. Small groups sometimes head to a park or beach instead. Groups stay small and temperament-matched, and on some days walkers meet up on the field so the dogs get a bigger play, always in a fully controlled space.

The adventure

Is there a doggy day care near me?
If you live in Glen Eira, Bayside, Port Phillip, Stonnington, Monash or Kingston, yes, and it comes to you. Instead of driving to a centre, we pick your dog up from home, take them to a secure, privately hired field with a small group, and bring them back 2 to 3 hours later, van ride included. Just outside those areas? Ask us, as a small travel fee may apply.
What is Adventure Daycare?
Adventure Daycare is Chilly's outdoor version of doggy day care: a 2 to 3 hour outing, door to door, with a small group matched by energy. We collect your dog in our van, head mostly to privately hired, secure fields (small groups sometimes go to a park or beach), then bring them home tired, settled and with a photo update.
Is this like a traditional doggy daycare?
No. There's no indoor centre. Instead of a long day in a busy room, your dog gets a focused outdoor adventure with a small group and a familiar walker, then comes home to rest. Many clients use it as their dog's daycare on workdays.
How long is an adventure, and does that include travel?
Each adventure is 2 to 3 hours from pick-up to drop-off, and that includes the van ride there and back. Time at the field depends on where the group lives and the order of pick-ups.
Where do the dogs go?
Mostly to privately hired, secure fields where the whole space is ours. Smaller groups sometimes head to a park or beach instead. We choose on the day based on the group, the weather and what suits the dogs.
How many dogs are in an adventure group?
A small group, matched by size, energy and temperament. On some days walkers meet up on a private field so the dogs get a bigger play, always in a fully controlled space.

How much does Adventure Daycare cost?
$79 per adventure, including door-to-door pick-up and drop-off, the van ride and a photo update. A second dog from the same home is 50% off.
What days do adventures run?
Adventures run on weekdays, on set days with a limited number of spots, so your dog joins a regular group. We'll find the right day for your dog at your free meet & greet.
Which suburbs do you pick up from?
We pick up across six Melbourne councils: Glen Eira, Bayside, Port Phillip, Stonnington, Monash and Kingston. If you're just outside them, a small travel fee may apply and we'll confirm it at your meet & greet.

Is my dog a good fit for adventures?
Adventures suit social dogs who enjoy other dogs, love being outdoors and are happy in the car. If your dog isn't yet safe around other dogs, or is a puppy who isn't fully vaccinated, we'll usually start with solo walks or puppy visits first.
Is it safe?
Yes. Every walker is police-checked and fully insured, we carry a first aid kit on every adventure, the van is temperature monitored, and dogs only go off-lead in secure areas with your written OK and reliable recall.
What happens in hot weather or rain?
Light rain is fine and most dogs love it. In extreme heat or storms we adjust: cooler times, more shade and water, a shorter outing, or we reschedule, and we always keep you updated.
Is Adventure Daycare the same as Adventure walks?
Yes. It's the same $79 adventure. Our walking page calls it Adventure walks; here we call it Adventure Daycare.
